Webinar:

The opportunity to empower clients and students with tools for their wellness toolbox is the
impetus for this special program. Sharing simple concepts from Therapeutic Touch, Touch for
Health, Brain Gym, Masgutova NeuroReflex Integration, Dance and Tai Chi, the experiential
sessions will provide insights for personal care. Using assessment techniques as well as muscle
monitoring, evaluation of experience will be explored before and after the techniques are
applied, and their use for “homework,” everyday routines, or for crisis care. The handbook will
offer guidance and instruction, as well as a resource to share with clients and students.
Personal experience with the tools will help to emphasize their importance for personal growth,
wellbeing and self-responsibility.

***Please note that though touch is discussed, touch between client and a therapist will not be discussed or encouraged, see pages 19-20 of our Standards of Practice for more information on Touch in Counselling***
