The presentation will also highlight some of the unique needs of these clients, illustrating how immigration legacy adds on, triggers, or intensifies mental health challenges. The session will demonstrate how various changes in social, economic, and health factors create mental distress, making therapeutic treatment more complex. Some helpful immigration and resettlement resources will also be provided to help therapists support the specific needs of their clients.
