Description:

This Lunch & Learn is designed to equip psychotherapists who wish to sit with their clients in non-pathologizing ways. It will provide the framework for a non-pathologizing lens in which all therapists can adapt to their work without requiring training in a new modality or certification.

During the session we will go through the five main theories of non-pathologizing as well as an in-depth explanation of the principles of non-pathology. We will then learn how to translate pathologizing interventions into non-pathologizing approaches.

The textbook and workbook to help you apply the theories and principles to your practice.

Biography:

Michael Towers is a certified supervisor with CCPA (CCS), CAMFT (RMFT-S), BCACC (RCC-ACS), and PACCP (CPC-S). He is in private practice in Kelowna, British Columbia where he lives with his partner of over 30 years.
