Description:

Join us for a thoughtful and engaging exploration of Indigenous culturally safe and responsive care in counselling and psychotherapy . This session will provide an introduction to key concepts, guiding participants through the field's historically harmful journey from harm to healing and reconciliation, while highlighting the ongoing advancements in culturally responsive psychotherapy. Through discussion and shared learning, we will explore best practices, evidence-based approaches, and ethical considerations that foster indigenous culturally responsive, respectful, and effective mental health care.
