Join Dr. Carmen Schlamb for the CCPA Lunch & Learn, "Partnering With the Land: How Engaging with Nature Can Help Open Doors for Spiritual Connection".

As we reflect on the interconnectedness between ourselves and the land, I hope to leave you with three key considerations that can deepen your relationship with nature and its wisdom:

  • Time spent in nature may awaken spiritual connections and other ways of knowing about the self and place.
  • Engaging with the land, through acts of giving and receiving, may encourage the development of meaningful and reciprocal relationships grounded in faith.
  • Learning on and from the land requires personal commitment and a belief in the value of what the land has to teach regarding adaptation, evolution, resiliency and acceptance.
