This two-part virtual series will explore some of the common themes that arise when working with couples where one or both partners is a trauma survivor. Trauma, particularly childhood trauma of abuse and neglect, alters a person’s nervous system and creates a number of long-lasting sequelae that impact intimate relationships.

This full-day workshop will be delivered in English and in two parts. Attendance to both is mandatory to receive the CEC's.

The first part will be on January 25, 2025. The second part will be on February 1, 2025.

Both will be held from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. (ET)

We will mix mini lectures about poly vagal theory, dissociation and attachment with experiential exercises and small group activities. In addition, we will discuss concrete interventions to assist couples to create a secure and loving relationship.
