Participants will engage in discussions and case studies designed to enhance their knowledge and skills in managing chronic pain effectively.

Presenter Bio:

Olivia Lorio is a McGill medical student, Kinesiologist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Her honours thesis focused on the relationship between Paraspinal muscle cross-sectional area, fatty infiltration, and muscle strength in patients with chronic pain. With a passion for exercise as pain management and recognizing its importance for mental health. She aims to contribute to the field through further research and practice.

Prof. Oxford York is a certified Integrative Mental Health provider, Clinical Trauma Professional, Sex Informed therapist, and a specialist in Advance Grief Counselling. He has worked for over 24 years in critical care, ambulance, and operating room settings prior to returning to school to compliment his knowledge on the constituents of holistic health and healing.
