Join us for an hour-long workshop led by Anishinaabe Knowledge Holder Mary Anne Caibaiosai, where she will share Medicine Wheel teachings, with a focus on healing through connection with Mother Earth. Discover how the Medicine Wheel serves as a framework for personal growth and well-being while honoring the sacred relationship between people and the land. This session offers a unique opportunity to learn from Mary Anne's ancestral knowledge and gain insights into the profound connection between nature and healing.

 

Biography:

Mary Anne Caibaiosai is Ojibway Anishinaabe kwe, bear clan from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory, where her ancestors walked. She is an artist, counsellor, and PhD candidate in Indigenous Studies at Trent University. She is also a water walker and holds and shares traditional 
teachings from her Anishinaabe Elders.
