The Technologies and Innovative Solution Chapter is bringing back the Cybersecurity Awareness for Working from Home Training.

This time TISC provided the presenter with questions from past attendees and areas of focus participants wanted more information on.
Although this educational event focuses on enhancing cybersecurity awareness for working from home, it will be helpful for anyone using personal computers (meaning not restricted by work VPNS or security). Participants will receive a 2.5-hour detailed briefing on critical cybersecurity topics and practical tools to mitigate risks, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session. Topics will be about working from home security or using personal laptops, choosing cloud-based technologies, and important guidelines to maintain security.
  • This will support participants in maintaining ethical standards and standards of practice in the use of technology.
  • Develop an understanding of security risks specific to remote work environments.
  • Learn practical tools and strategies for safeguarding personal and professional data.
  • Increase proficiency in identifying and responding to potential cyber threats.
  • Gain insights into best practices for secure digital communication.
