Event Overview: 

Calling all Alberta members interested in learning more about what is happening with Regulation. Join ACTA’s leadership for an update to CCPA members on regulation. The Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA)’s sole mandate is to be the voice of the counselling therapy profession in Alberta regarding regulation.
 
The presentation will be made by Laura Hahn, ACTA CEO/Registrar, and Nicole Imgrund, ACTA Board Chair. Panelists will also include Nicholas Renaud, ACTA Board Director appointed by CCPA, and Kathy Offet-Gartner, CCPA Regional Advocacy Lead

 

Presenters and Panelists Bio: 

Laura Hahn is the CEO and Registrar for ACTA. She is a Certified Health Executive (CHE) with the Canadian College of Health Leaders and completed her Master of Arts in Leadership, specializing in health, at Royal Roads University.

Nicole Imgrund is the Chair of the ACTA Board and an appointed Director by CCPA. Nicole has been a Counselling Therapist and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) for over 20 years and is the Owner and Director of a private counselling centre in St. Albert.

Nicholas Renaud is an appointed Director to ACTA by CCPA. Nicholas has been working as a Counselling Therapist for over 15 years and is a former CCPA national board member.
