Webinar Description:

Animals are an effective adjunct in a therapeutic setting when included ethically and safely. Accomplishing a safe and ethical animal-assisted therapy practice requires due diligence and thorough understanding of all considerations that must be made for the practitioner, the client, the animal and the public/facility the animal will work in. This webinar will highlight the needs for including animals into practice as well as provide information for where and how to have animals (particularly canines) trained and certified for this work.
